'Losing Time' - SHED - PALP's first exhibition, held in August 2000. Site-specific installations in the outbuilding, sheds and gardens of Boscathnoe Farm. A small potting shed was transformed into a claustrophobic, theatrical environment of a Composers den. This was created with sheet music, pianola scrolls and a ticking metronome, strongly lit to throw a large shadow on the back wall, swinging fromside to side and ticking, to suggest the inevitability of the passage of time. A stilled egg timer highlighted the possibility of time running out.
